Leggings are one of the most requested activewear categories, but they are also one of the easiest to get wrong. Fabric that feels fine on the table can fail under stretch. Waistbands can roll. Front shaping can feel off. Seams can twist. That is why most leggings projects live or die in sampling, not after bulk has already started.

What Buyers Usually Need Confirmed First

On leggings, the early questions are usually about opacity under stretch, fabric recovery, waistband shape, seam placement, gusset setup, and target compression level. If those points stay vague, the first sample often turns into a preventable revision round. If they are checked early, the path to bulk is usually much cleaner.

Types of Leggings We Commonly Make

We work on yoga leggings, gym leggings, pocket leggings, brushed winter leggings, seamless-look styles, and compression-focused leggings for performance use. Some buyers want soft hand feel and everyday comfort. Others want a tighter performance feel with stronger recovery. Those are not the same fabric direction, and it helps to decide that before sampling starts.

Private Label and Fabric Direction

Private label details such as woven labels, care labels, hang tags, and packaging can be added after the garment direction is clear. For fabric, buyers usually send a target GSM, hand feel, stretch expectation, or a physical sample. That is far more useful than asking for something “premium” without defining what that means in wear.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MOQ for custom leggings?

Usually 100 pieces per style per color. Final MOQ may still change if custom fabric development is involved.

Can you review opacity under stretch during sampling?

Yes. That is one of the first things we usually recommend checking on leggings.

What fabrics do you use for leggings?

Mostly nylon-spandex, polyester-spandex, brushed knits, and compression fabrics depending on the style and target feel.

Can you make private label leggings?

Yes. Labels, tags, packaging, and branding placement can be arranged with the garment setup.

Working on a Leggings Style?

Send the tech pack, reference sample, or fabric target first. We’ll review opacity risk, fit points, and what should be checked before bulk starts.
