If you already know roughly what you want to build, this is the right route. You decide the fabric, fit, features, colors, and branding. Our job is to turn that into a sample that can actually be made cleanly, instead of nodding along and discovering problems halfway through.

What “Custom” Usually Means in Practice

Custom does not just mean picking a color and adding a logo. It can include: • Fabric and GSM • Color and dye direction • Fit, silhouette, and key measurements • Pockets, zippers, mesh, thumb holes, drawcords, and other features • Stitching details and thread color • Label placement and packaging Before quoting, we review the spec and point out anything likely to create trouble during sampling or bulk. That part matters more than the sales pitch.

Ways Buyers Usually Start a Custom Order

Most custom orders start from one of these: 1. A full tech pack 2. A physical sample from another brand 3. A sketch with measurements and notes 4. One of our sample styles used as the base All four can work. The cleaner the starting point, the fewer sample rounds you usually need. If the brief is vague, that does not kill the project, but it usually adds time.

Sample Sequence and the Problems That Usually Slow Things Down

For styles with more risk, we usually suggest a clear sample sequence: • Proto sample for shape and construction • Size set if grading matters • PP sample before bulk What slows projects down most often is not some dramatic factory failure. It is usually smaller things: missing seam details, unclear artwork size, inconsistent measurements, trim notes that were never finalized, or a fabric idea that looked good on paper and worse in real life. Better to catch that before the sample room starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize every detail of the garment?

Usually yes, as long as the changes are realistic for the fabric, construction, and order size. Fabric, GSM, cut, stitching, features, branding, and packaging can all be adjusted.

What file formats do you accept for designs?

Tech packs in PDF, Illustrator files, sketches with measurements, and physical reference samples all work. If the information is clear enough, we can start from it.

Can you match a Pantone color?

Yes, but custom dye lots can add time, especially on first orders. It is better to allow extra days than pretend that part is instant.

What is the MOQ for fully custom designs?

Usually 100 pcs per style per color. If custom fabric development is involved, mill MOQ can push the real minimum higher.
